Yarudag Peak - 4116 m

🏔 October 3-4 - Yarudag Peak 4116 m. Yarudag Peak is one of the highest and most prominent mountains in Azerbaijan. Its official elevation is 4116 meters. Yarudag is located in the Lateral Range of the Greater Caucasus, in the Qusar district, within Shahdag National Park. The peak lies on the border between Azerbaijan and the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Federation. Known for its steep rocky slopes and magnificent views, Yarudag is part of the same mountain system as Shahdag and Bazarduzu peaks. Program: Day 1: Baku → Guba → Khinalig → Yarudag Camp (2900 m). Day 2: 04:00 - Hike to Yarudag Peak (4116 m). 🎒 Required equipment: 60–70L backpack, mountain boots, waterproof clothing (Gore-Tex), sleeping bag, tent, headlamp, gas burner, mess kit, fleece jacket, etc.
