Walking, bus, food and night tours — 2–4 hours, with several start times a day.

Unlike mountain routes, city tours are measured in hours: a 2-hour walk through the Old City, a bus tour of Baku lit up at night, the Sheki Khan Palace and caravanserais, or a food tour of local cuisine. Most run daily with several start times.
Each tour page lists the stops, time spent at each and whether admission is included, the guide's languages, the meeting point and hotel pickup. Tours are listed by local guides and tour companies registered on Gotabiat.
The Old City, Maiden Tower, the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and old neighbourhoods are best explored on foot. Tours take 2–3 hours and cover 3–5 km. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water in summer.
Food tours include tastings at several local spots — plov, qutab, tea and sweets. Night tours cover the Boulevard, the Flame Towers and illuminated buildings. Mention any food allergies in the booking form.
On a private tour the guide goes only with your group and the route can be adjusted. Small-group tours cap the number of participants for more time with the guide.
Most city tours take 2–4 hours. Exact duration and start times are shown on each tour page.
It depends on the tour. Each stop on the itinerary shows whether admission is included.
Guide languages are listed on every tour page — usually Azerbaijani, English and Russian.
On some tours, yes. Those pages show a “Hotel pickup” badge; otherwise the meeting point is shown on the map.
Tour pages show a wheelchair-accessible badge and a “not suitable for” list. If in doubt, ask the organiser via the inquiry form.
