Gakh travel guide
Some of the best views of the Caucasus, the historic village of Ilisu and waterfalls.
Gakh is in the north-west of the country, about 320 km from Baku. Several cultures live side by side here, including the traditions of the Ingiloy community.
The most visited place is Ilisu, once the seat of the Ilisu Sultanate, known for its stone houses, its tower and its mountain rivers.
