Gabala travel guide
A family-friendly region of forests, Lake Nohur, the Seven Beauties waterfall and the Tufandag cable cars.
Gabala lies about 225 km north-west of Baku and is one of the most popular holiday regions in the country. Forested mountains, rivers and waterfalls make it especially loved in summer.
Gabala also has a long history: the ruins of the ancient city that was once the capital of Caucasian Albania can still be visited.
