About events
The events section collects everything that happens indoors rather than on a trail: quiz nights, speaking clubs and language exchanges, board-game and mafia evenings, movie nights, workshops and courses, stand-up and concerts. Most of them run on a repeating schedule — the same weekday, the same hour, every week.
Every listing is posted by a club or organizer registered on Gotabiat. The card shows the date and time, the format and the venue; your registration goes straight to the organizer. Some events take individual sign-ups, others are booked by the table.

Club nights
Quizzes, board games, mafia and movie nights usually start between 19:00 and 20:00 on weekday evenings and run for two to three hours. Quiz nights are booked by team: one table seats 4–6 people and is sold whole. If you do not have a team, many clubs will seat you with other players.
Language clubs and workshops
Speaking clubs and language exchanges state the language of the evening and the level expected. Workshops and courses may run over several sessions — in that case you register for the whole series rather than a single date, and materials or a certificate are listed under "what is included".
Online events
Some events run over Zoom, Google Meet or Discord. The joining link is never shown on the public page — it is sent to you once your registration is confirmed. Hybrid events list room seats and online seats separately.
Frequently asked questions
Can I come to a quiz night alone?+
Yes. Most clubs seat solo players with incomplete teams. If the listing says individual registration you book per person; if it says table, you reserve a whole table for your team.
How many people are in a team?+
Usually four to six. The exact range is shown on each event page and the booking form checks it.
What does the price include?+
It depends on the event: club nights often include a drink and the game materials, workshops include materials and a certificate. Every page has an "included / not included" section.
Do I have to pay in advance?+
For most events, no — you can hold a place without paying. If the organizer has enabled m10 payment, the pay button appears on the event page.
If the event repeats weekly, which date am I booking?+
The page lists all upcoming dates of the series and you choose the one you want. Only the date you pick is reserved for you.
