Mount Fit

June to September is prime mountain season. Early summer offers blooming meadows while late summer has stable weather.

Moderate difficulty. Suitable for participants with regular walking habits capable of ascending uphill for several hours.

Ancient stone fortress ruins crown the summit area. They are protected cultural heritage — please avoid climbing on walls or taking stones.

Trekking boots, warm and wind/waterproof outerwear, at least 1.5–2L water, snacks, sunscreen, and hat.

Mount Fit is located in the Ismayilli region. The start of the route is approximately 125 km west in a straight line from Baku. Coordinates: 40.79418, 48.4266.

Hiking route is 12.8 km (round trip), total elevation gain +921 m, highest point 1809 m. Figures are calculated from real GPX tracks of guided tours.
